Our new edition of the President's Cup will take place on Friday, July 11 at the University of Hamburg's sailing jetty. Ten crews from Hamburg's universities have registered for the legendary sailing regatta.

Five laps have to be sailed after the start in front of the University's sailing jetty on the Outer Alster. As always in the regulations:

• After each round there must be a change of boat crew at the jetty.
  A member of the respective university management must be on board.

Numerous presidents, chancellors and members of the university management will be there to test their sailing skills in the race and take the opportunity for a personal exchange at the buffet and award ceremony afterwards.

HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences is aiming to defend its title from last year. We are curious to see which crew will be one boat length ahead this year and whether there will be exciting changes and spectacular maneuvers and capsizes again!
